Through the delivery of face to face training we aim to increase the skills, knowledge and understanding that underpin and encourage healthier lifestyle choices across the county and beyond.

Whether you want to develop your own understanding or that of your community or organisation, our training team has identified key areas of health promotion and developed relevant training that meets the needs of those who live and work here.

Mental Health First Aid - Two Day (First Aider)

Delivered over two days, this internationally recognised training will foster the skills and knowledge to help and support a person struggling with a mental health concern. By the end of the course you will be able to;

  • Recognise the symptoms of mental health issues
  • Provide initial help
  • Guide a person towards appropriate professional help

Cost: £25  This amount covers the cost of participant workbooks .The actual training delivery is free of charge.

09.30-16.30 on both days
