Indra Herbert – Public Health Skills Development Lead

With a background in Integrative Health, as both practitioner and educator, Indra has spent many years supporting individuals and communities in promoting their physical, mental and emotional health and well-being.

Having worked in respite care, as a health trainer and in community health development his qualifications and experience in health and education have led him to the role of Public Health Skills Development Lead for the Health Promotion Service, where he is committed to providing interesting, relevant and enjoyable training throughout Cornwall.

Indra is also the Regional Training Officer for the British Wheel of Yoga

 

Carly Titmus – Public Health Skills Development Officer

After studying Social Work, Carly worked in mental health, supporting minority groups and vulnerable people within the community.  This led to opportunities within the educational field and after completing a PGCE she spent a number of years teaching Health & Social Care within further education. 

Carly joined the Health Promotion Service as Public Health Skills Development Officer with the desire and commitment to develop and deliver bespoke training and awareness workshops to enable better health and well-being throughout the county.  

Carly’s strengths and experience include pastoral care and issues surrounding equality and diversity.

 

Alison Brown – Public Health Skills Development Officer

After studying Social Work with a specialism in mental health, and gaining a Certificate in Education and Training, Alison has spent many years working in third sector training, with a particular interest in financial inclusion and its impact on physical and mental health and well-being within communities.

Alison joined the Health Promotion Service as a Public Health Skills Development Officer with a passion to enabling a continuous improvement in the physical and mental health and well-being of communities through training and education.
