Ensure healthy options are available when snacks are provided for meetings and other workplace get-togethers:

  • Provide fruit and other healthy options in meetings over pastries, biscuits etc
  • Could you provide free fruit on a regular basis, whether every morning or once a week, to help staff replace unhealthy snacking

Survey what’s currently available and make healthy food choices easier to access:

  • What is available in workplace vending machines, café, break room etc? Can healthier choices be added?
  • Are staff made aware of the healthier food options in the local area?

Staff should have regular and easy access to drinking water to ensure hydration:

  • Is there sufficient access to mains drinking water throughout the day?
  • Are water stations available?
