Have information and resources placed in areas that smokers are more likely to congregate:

  • Include general social areas such as break rooms, reception and desk areas
  • Is there a smoking shelter outside?
  • Add information leaflets to vehicles used by staff – work vans, pool cars etc

 

Make information available in a variety of forms:

  • Physical binder of local and national support information
  • Online showcase for example on desktop screens, intranet, email signatures etc
  • Put up posters
  • Leave leaflets and other resources in communal areas
  • Discuss topic and signposts in team meetings etc
  • Sign up and promote local and national health campaigns
  • Contact Healthy Cornwall to request localised resources
