Making Every Contact Count Lite
MECC is a way of encouraging people to make healthier lifestyle choices and to empower positive long-term behaviour change. MECC focuses on the lifestyle issues that, when addressed, can make the greatest improvement to an individual’s health and wellbeing:
• Stopping smoking
• Managing alcohol intake
• Healthy eating and keeping to a healthy weight
• Being physically active
• Improving mental health and wellbeing

Suicide Awareness
In this session we will cover some background understanding of suicide as a public health issue, the continuum of suicide, warning signs and share a simple tool to help keep a person safe. The overall aim is to demystify the topic of suicide to enable people to feel more confident talking about it in their everyday interactions.

This workshop aims to increase knowledge and understanding of how food impacts our mood and how our feelings effect our food choices"; There are many ways in which food can influence how we feel, just like how we feel can have an influence on what foods we choose to eat. This workshop aims to increase knowledge and understanding of how food impacts our mood, and how we can improve our own mood and energy levels.

Children and Young People Physical Literacy with CYP sense of belonging
An engaging workshop where we’ll dive into the world of physical literacy! Discover what it truly means, why it’s a game-changer and how you can make a powerful impact through your delivery. How do we create self-acceptance, so children aren’t judged? This session will dive into the intrinsic motivations and what we all can do to break the generational cycle of inequalities.

Active Ageing and Long-term conditions
Learning through experts with Dr. Muir Grey. Looking at the benefits of physical activity for older adults and how to tailor your provision to suit.

(Introduction to the) HOPE programme
The Hope Programme® is a health and wellbeing intervention for organisations that work with people living with a long-term condition at any age, and for employers to support staff wellbeing and resilience. The course is based on positive psychology, mindfulness and cognitive behavioural therapy.
HOPE is a programme to help local people build confidence to self-manage their long-term health conditions. This could include:
Physical health such as pain relief.
Mental ill health issues such as anxiety, stress and depression.
People returning to work after a long absence.
Parents/carers of children with additional or complex needs.
The Hope Programme® provides you with the knowledge, skills and confidence to cope with many of life’s challenges, frustrations, fears and isolation. The programmes empower you to manage your health and wellbeing and to flourish in your working and personal life.
