No Smoking Day 2025

a man and his father with arms around each other, text reads "no smoking day 2025"

No Smoking Day is taking place this Wednesday, 12 March 2025.

Stopping smoking is the best thing that you can do for your health and the health of those around you.

There are almost immediate improvements to your health when you stop smoking, and on average, someone who smokes could save around £2500 per year by quitting.

It's never too late to quit smoking, so whether it's your first time or you've tried before, the Healthy Cornwall team are here to offer FREE support to help you finally go smokefree for good.

The team will be out and about throughout Cornwall next week running a variety of drop-in sessions, providing advice and support for those ready to quit for good:

  • CN4C, The Elms, Redruth 12.00 - 1.00pm

Tuesday

  • Asda, St Austell 10.00am - 1.00pm
  • Carylon House, St Austell 4.00 - 5.00pm
  • Laity House, Liskeard 3.00 -5.00pm

Additional Support Options

If you can't make it to a drop-in session, there’s no need to worry, as we also offer a variety of digital and phone-based support options too, including video calling, text support and more.

There are also a huge number of apps and tools out there to support you if you want to try stopping smoking without the help of an advisor or to go alongside it.

FREE Text Support Service

Our Stop Smoking Text Support Service is completely FREE and super simple to get started - just text 'SMOKEFREE' to 82228. Over the next month you’ll then be supported through a quit attempt with top tips, advice, tools and motivation from the team to guide you to success. Once you reach the end of the text service you’ll be 5 times more likely to quit smoking for good.
